Rent Relief Fund
The Rent Relief Fund is a Manitoba-wide program run through the Manitoba Non Profit Housing Association. We are a nonprofit that provides low-barrier, interest-free loans to individuals who are struggling with rent or utility arrears. We can also support individuals by providing loans for things such as damage deposits, first month rent, or moving costs. The goal of our work is to help individuals and families secure and maintain healthy and affordable housing which means we also provide an element of social support in connecting our participants with any resources that will work to stabilize their housing. Recently we have also added a financial coach to our team to help with budgeting. Our program is open to Manitobans with any source of income that fit our eligibility criteria.
